Inka Tours Unlimited is a young but experienced professionally licensed tourist company founded in 2004. We set out to create this tour company with the mentality to first, overcome all the quality standards in tourist services that other tour companies use today, and secondly give back something to the environment by leaving as small as global footprint as possible and helping local communities. Our service is based on the highest customer service for complete satisfaction of our customers, making customers and the environment our top two priorities.

Reservation Policy
Our company has several sources of communication between us and our customers, for fastest service we recommend you contact us directly :

- All reservations must have complete information of the passengers :
- First and last name, age, nationality, passport number and employer.
- Arrival and departure time, airline name and flight number.
- Name and fax number or email of the next provider for clients continuing to another country.
- Specific medical requirements or restrictions, food allergies, or drug allergies.
Confirmation Policy
All reservations will be quickly confirmed via email or fax within 24 hours.
After confirmation the GROUPS and / or FITS coupons are sent for the service requested containing information about the program, as well as the file number and all passenger information needed including details of the tours, services, and hotels.
Additional informational forms will be handed to all travelers by our representative at the point of arrival.
GROUPS must be confirmed 60 days in advance and FITS must be confirmed 30 days in advance of arrival. There is a 50% pre-payment due at the time of booking, the other 50% of the balance must be paid 30 days prior to arrival for GROUPS and 15 days for FITS.
Our Rates
Our rates are in USD per passenger and valid for the current year. Rates may vary according to current changes, additional fees, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Rates do not include alcoholic drinks, soda, personal expenses or tips.
Ask for additional programs, extensions and/ or any trip variations.
The current airport fees are US$5.00 for national flights and US$28.00 for international flights.
FITS or individual passengers
In the case of a passenger traveling alone, the base rate of a single room will apply.
GROUPS
Rates for Groups will be booked based on a double occupancy. There is an additional cost for separate single rooms when requested.
Group Leads
For paid tours of 15 passengers or more, the group lead will receive one tour free.
Important
We now have representatives in the US, available to resolve any problems and answer any questions in English.
The rates for our programs are per person and commission is offered for travel agents from 5% to 25% in USD.
Cancellation policy
All hotels require a deposit equal to the rate of one night, non refundable, which must be paid 60 days before check in to the hotel in case of groups and 30 days in case of individual passengers.
Holidays: during Holy week, national festivities, and Inti Raymi different rates or conditions may apply.
FITS or individual passengers: There is no charge for cancellations if we are notified 30 days in advance of your arrival date.
Groups: There is no charge for cancellations if we are notified 60 days in advance of your arrival date.
If cancellation is not within the limit, you will be charged full price for the tour.
All refunds will be made to the tour operator and/or corresponding agency.
Any passengers not present or who interrupt a tour will not be refunded for the cost of her/his tour.
Inka Tours Unlimited is not responsible for problems, claims or complaints caused by situations outside of our control.
Hotels and Overnight
Inka Tours Unlimited is aware of different expectations of each passenger, to customize your itinerary, we select hotels according to your budget and special requirements.
The range of hotels we offer are anywhere from Luxurious hotels, to a lodge in the Amazon, or even a cozy cabin on a cruise.
In order to help us suit your needs, we base our tours on standard rooms. Mention the code of the program(ex: Tour code ITU-CT1) and we will ask you to indicate a category or quality level for hotels while reserving your tour. We can also reserve hotels of your choice by name.
In case of hotel selection by a passenger that we are unable to confirm, we will select another hotel with the same quality standard.
We are required by the government to have a list of passengers with their information 60 days prior to arrival in Peru for Groups, and 30 days in the case of individual passengers. This list will be distributed to the hotels.
Responsibility Policy
Inka Tours Unlimited has everything you need for efficient and personalized service during your trip.
We are here 24/7 to satisfy your needs and unique preferences.
Keep in mind however it may occasionally be necessary for us to modify tours or itinerary according to certain conditions not within our control.
Inka Tours Unlimited will not be responsible for consequences of any type because of alteration of a program or any other causes such as airport closures, climatic conditions, or any other type of flight delays, political situations, war situations, strikes, change of plans or other circumstances or natural forces.
Under any of the above circumstances, before or during the trip, our company will work toward the best solution for our clients, nevertheless the consequences will be charged to our clients travel insurance, hence our travel insurance suggestion. Please see our Travel Insurance section.
Airlines are responsible for their flights, itineraries, delays, cancellations, and their consequences could change our programs.
Even though we take every precaution possible, we are not responsible for accidents, illness, harm, losses, additional charges, accidental delays, and any other irregularity that might cause intentional negligence or omission by the companies or individuals who provide or are in charge of transportation, lodging, and other services related with the developing of programs, or for natural disasters, social disturbance or acts of god. Inka Tours Unlimited and their workers hereby decline any responsibility for these causes.
The personal documents needed to execute the trip and the custody and possession of travel documents (service coupon) is exclusive responsibility of the passenger therefore you assume the consequences of partial or total loss of these papers.
Recommendations
Travel insurance: We recommend traveling with a personal travel insurance policy with complete coverage. Travel Insurance is a great deal, it’s often priced low, offers a variety of coverage, and offers peace of mind for travelers. It is the responsibility of the client to purchase travel insurance.
Inka Tours Unlimited does provide a Limited Coverage in case of accidents during a trip in Peru, as your transportation under our care and all of our vehicles have insurance.

Information about your Program
From the day of your arrival in Peru, our team will explain a schedule of activities with every detail needed. See your representative or group lead if you have questions about your schedule.
Responsible tourism
We hire the service of local businessman who own hotels and restaurants, and charge what we feel is a great price for their service.
When we operate adventure tours we follow strict codes to minimize harm to the environment.
The porters of the Inka Trail are very important to ensure a successful and exciting trip, we guarantee that our trek team, which includes porters and cooks are well treated and paid fairly.
Our tour guides, cooks, and horseman stay overnight in tents, no one in our team is under 18 years old, and porters carry a maximum of 18Kg.(39Lb) All our porters carry health insurance.
All trash from the camping sites is carried out of the trek circuit.
Inka Tours Unlimited has the right to:
A) Make any itinerary changes when needed due to schedule changes or flight delays.
B) Accept or reject a person as a member of a program.
C) Fill free space on vans or buses with our tour guides or any other personnel of our team and their equipment.
D) There is no refund for a portion of the tour which was not used. |
