DAY 1 Cusco City Tour
After arriving in Cusco, we’ll transport you from the airport to your hotel.
We suggest resting the whole morning in order for you to adapt to the high altitude.
In the afternoon, we’ll start the Cusco city tour:
- La Plaza de Armas (main square)
- Cusco cathedral
- The Qoricancha and
- The archaeological Inka sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, PukaPukara and Sacsayhuaman.
Sacsayhuaman is a fortress made of stones, some of them weighting between 80 and 100 tons. Sacsayhuaman is also home to many festivals; Inti Raymi (the Sun festival) take places June 24th and in September La fiesta del Waracachi (initiation ceremony) where the young men have to pass several tasks in order to be received into manhood.
This tour ends around 6 PM with a transfer to your hotel.
DAY 2 Sacred Valley Tour
At 9 AM we’ll pick you up from your hotel and then start the Sacred Valley tour. On the way, we’ll stop at the market of Pisac where the farmers bring their products to sell, and sometimes interchange for products outside their valley, products like candles, matches, cloth, salt, coca leaf, tropical fruits, etc. Later, we’ll eat at the local restaurant. In the afternoon we’ll visit Ollantaytambo, built as a watch point and also to control the entrance of the Valley from possible invaders coming from the jungle.
We’ll also walk in the little streets of the town that will give us an idea of the religious, military, and cultural power of this place in time of the Inkas.
On the way back to Cusco, we’ll stop at Chincheros the remains of the royal farm that once belonged to Tupac Inka Yupanqui. Afterwards we’ll transfer you to your hotel.
DAY 3 Machu Picchu Tour
After breakfast at 5.30AM We’ll travel by train to Machu Picchu which in quechua language means “old peak“.
we’ll travel for about 4 hours along the river Urubamba, on the way you’ll be amazed by the beauty of this place.
Then we’ll arrive to the town Aguas Calientes, from here we’ll travel by bus to the ruins of Machu Picchu, “One of the new wonders of the world”.
Here you’ll be astonish by the incredible architecture performed for the inkas that used a technique called ashlar in which block of stones are cut to fit together tightly.
The lost city of Machu Picchu is composed of 140 structures that includes temples, parks, residence, terraces, water fountains that you’ll explore with our tour guide.
In the afternoon we’ll back to your hotel in Cusco by train.
DAY 4 Cusco – Tinqui
Depart from Cusco by private bus toward Tinqui on the Cusco - Puerto Maldonado Highway.
On the way, we will stop at Urcos and visit the beautiful Lake Urcos. Here we can stop to watch the variety of birds that depend on this lake.
Next, we’ll visit a village of farmers and from this point we’ll have a spectacular view of the region.
Finally after about six hours of travel, we’ll enter Ocongate; capital of the district; and only 30 minutes away from Tinqui.
After dinner, we’ll spend the night at a local hostel.

DAY 5 Tinqui - Pachanta - Qomercocha Lagoon
After breakfast we’ll spend some time in Tinqui. we’ll visit the public high school and meet the kids from the neighboring villages, who study in the same school and we’ll give them some school supplies.
We’ll depart from Tinqui and hike to Pacchanta, 2½ hours away from Tinqui. In Pacchanta we’ll have lunch.
Pacchanta is a town which has hot springs where you can relax or swim.
In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Pacchanta valley and on the way we’ll see llamas and alpacas. Finally we’ll arrive at the beautiful Qomercocha lagoon where we’ll camp and later have dinner.

DAY 6 Qomercocha Lagoon - Yanamayo
We’ll start our trek after breakfast.. After 4 hours we’ll arrive at abra de Q’ampa pass at 5000M.
Later we’ll hike down to Ticllacocha Lagoon where we’ll see a group of small beautiful turquoise lagoons, and later we’ll rest and have lunch.
In the afternoon, after 2 - 3 hours hiking we’ll arrive at Yanamayo where we’ll camp in a beautiful valley. From here you can get a good view of Colquecruz and Puca Punta peaks in the distance.

DAY 7 Yanamayo - Condorpaso
Early in the morning we’ll hike toward Yanacocha lagoon which in quechua means “black lagoon“. In this area the soil is of volcanic origin and has a dark red to black color.
Later we continue our hike passing Yanacocha mountain at 5050M. From this point we’ll stop to admire the beautiful valley surrounded by mountains below. We may also be able to see some llamas and alpacas here. 1 hour later we’ll hike up to Condorpaso where we’ll camp for the night.

DAY 8 Condorpaso - Sibinacocha Lagoon
In the morning we’ll hike a small climb for about 2 hours and pass el abra del condor Paso at 5200M. From this point you can see the river Vilcanota and Sibinacocha lagoon below.
After a break we continue our hike for around 3 hours and arrive at Sibinacocha. Here it’s possible to see wild vicuñas, Andean Geese, and Andean ducks also known as Huallatas. At night we’ll camp close to the lagoon.

DAY 9 Sibinacocha lagoon - Ccascana
We’ll depart early in the morning and hike for about 3 hours along the shore of Sibinacocha lagoon until we reach Yayamari, a village near a mountain with same name at 5500M. From here it’s possible to view llamas, alpacas and possibly vicuña. Later we’ll continue to abra Ccascana (5000M) and also Ccascana lagoon. From this point of the trail, we get a good view of the snow covered mountains surrounding us. This isolated lagoon is home to Andean geese and occasionally flamingos. Beside this beautiful lagoon we’ll spend our final night.

DAY 10 Ccascana - Phinaya - Cusco
After breakfast we’ll depart at 7AM from Ccascana and hike for about 3 ½ hours toward Phinaya. This is a small Andean town with friendly people who rely solely on bikes and horses as transportation. Here we can interact with the locals and get to know their customs and way of life, an experience that we guarantee you won’t forget. We’ll have lunch at this place and at night we return to Cusco by private bus. This trip will last around 7 hours. In Cusco we will transport you to your hotel.

DAY 11 Transfer Out
After breakfast we’ll transfer to the airport and provide assistance for final departure flight.
End of services.
