Destination: Inca trail

Time: 4 days / 3 nights

Day 01: Cusco km 82 - Huayllabamba.

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you by bus to km 82. Around 11AM we will meet the other travelers, porters, cook, camp assistants, etc. and start hiking.        The 1st day of this hike will be difficult, especially the first kilometers. Later, on the trail we will have a view of Veronica mountain and continue hiking along the river Vilcanota arriving at the archaeological ruins of Pallacta where we will have lunch. In the afternoon we'll continue to Huayllabamba where we will camp.

Day 02: Huayllabamba - Pacaymayo.

After breakfast, we will start the 2nd day of our tour hiking one of the most difficult parts of the trail ascending to the top of Wuarmihuanusca (dead womans pass)(4200 m.a.s.l) at this point of the trail we will have to chance to stop and take in some breathtaking views of the Andes. After lunch we will hike down to Pacaymayo valley where we will camp.

Day 03: Pacaymayo - Winayhuayna.

Early in the morning we'll start hiking, and 30 minutes later we will arrive at the archaeological complex of Runkurakay. From this point forward, we will see the true Inka trail which is stone paved and in some parts 2 meters in width. We will visit Sayacmarca, a beautiful architectural complex, we will also go through a tunnel and later arrive at Phuyupatamarca. We will later descend in an interesting part of the trail with vegetation typical of the forest brow (the edge of the Andes and the jungle) rich in flora and fauna. After a 2 hour hike we will arrive at Winaywayna, where we will camp.

Day 04: Winayhuayna - Machupicchu - Cusco.

After breakfast, we will start hiking and arriving at IntiPunku (the sun gate) known as the door to Machupicchu, which has an amazing view of the citadel below.
At Machupicchu, you will have a tour in the most important places of this citadel, We will visit the main square, the round tower, the sacred solar clock, the royal room, the temple of the 3 windows, and the cemetery. Free time to look around and later meet the rest of the group and travel by bus to Aguascalientes to have lunch.
In the afternoon, we will return to Cusco by train and get a transfer to your hotel. End of our services.
