Lima - Cusco - Puno

Time: 8 Days / 7 Nights

Day 01: Lima City tour - Colonial and Contemporary Lima

Upon arrival, reception by our professional tour guide and associate. Transfer to hotel, explanation in detail of your tour. Assistance with any gear and check in at your hotel .
In the afternoon; tour of Lima and it's most important architectural sites such as the main square (Damero de Pizzarro), the government palace, city council (El Cabildo), the cathedral, and the archbishop's palace.
Later in the afternoon, we'll visit theconvento de San Francisco, an architecture treasure of the 16th century.
On our way through modern Lima, we will see the exclusive district of San Isidro, the financial heart of Lima. While there we will visit the huacahuallamarca.
Finally we will end the tour in the district of Miraflores, where we will visit el parque del amor (the love park) with its cliff top setting high above the Pacific ocean, followed by a visit to Larcomar outdoor shopping mall or a return to your hotel.

Day 02: Cusco - City tour - Sacsayhuaman and nearby ruins

Arrival at the city of Cusco, transfer to you hotel. At the arranged time, the tour will start.
Cusco city tour including: Templo del sol (temple of the sun), Plaza de armas (main square), la cathedral (the cathedral), and archaeological ruins such as Sacsayhuaman, qenqo and Tambomachay. Afternoon return to hotel, and a free night to explore Cusco on your own.Accommodations in Cusco for this night.

Day 03: Cusco - The Sacred Valley of the Incas

Morning trip to the sacred valley, taking the route through Pisac, on the way we will stop at a scenic view of the Urubamba river, twisting through the valley crops. Later, we will visit the colorful market of Pisac where we will have free time to interact with the locals and craftsmen and shop their beautiful handcrafts and souvenirs. Next, we will go to Urubamba for a buffet in the local community restaurant. Finally, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a beautiful town with an Inca origin, with water channels and cobbled streets. In the mountains overlooking the town is an impressive ceremonial center of water and a fortress that guards the access to the lower part of the valley. Accommodations are in the Sacred Valley for this night.

Day 04: Machupicchu

We will visit one of the new wonders of the world "Machupicchu". The tour will be by train, a great way to take in the impressive views of the Sacred Valley.
Upon arrival in AguasCalientes, your tour guide will assist you in boarding the bus to Machupicchu. In Machupicchu our professional tour guide will explain to you the history of these charming and mysterious ruins. This is truly an unforgettable experience!
After the tour, You will have free time to explore Machupicchu on your own, or to relax or meditate. Later we will go to the town of Aguascalientes.

Day 05: Cusco - Puno

Early morning start for our trip to Puno, and on the way we will stop several places including: Andahuaylillas, Sixtine Chapel, Village of Raqchi (125km South east of Cusco), and Abra la raya (the highest pass between Cusco and Puno). Beautiful views of the high Andean plateau, herds of south American camelids (llamas and alpacas) grazing, and snowcapped mountains are common sights along this trip.
We will stop for lunch at a typical village restaurant. Finally, we arrive in the city of Puno where we overnight. Accommodations in the city of Puno.

Day 06: Uros - Taquile - and Suasi Islands

We leave early in the morning for Titicaca lake where we will board our boat for a lake tour. We will stop first at Uros island, and after that we will continue to Taquile island where we'll get a chance to expoerience the customs and the peaceful styles of this island.
Next, we will go to Suasi island, a private island and one of the most beautiful islands of the lake. This island is also home to a species of camelids.
In the afternoon, we will relax at the hotel and grill outside for lunch.
We suggest doing one the activities offered by the hotel, such as a hike exploring the flora and fauna, bird watching or involvement in a cultural activity.

Day 07: Lima

Transfer from hotel to airport for your returning flight to Lima. In the afternoon, we suggest taking one the optional tours in Lima, like museo de oro, mercadoindio, museo de la nacion, dinner a folklore show.

Day 08: Lima

Breakfast and transfer to Jorge Chavez airport to board your international flight.
